Cancer overwhelms the one who suffers the disease as well as the society. Campeche was attacked by pirates at one time; high walls were built for protection and gardens within those walls brought peace to its citizens, just like those walls, the hospital was designed to share its interior gardens and create a comfortable healing environment while conciliate its functional needs.
